Wynn Vickrey

Wynn S. Vickrey, 63, of Moline, Illinois, died Sunday, December 6, 2015, in UnityPoint Health- Trinity Rock Island, Rock Island, Illinois.

Cremation will take place at Trimble Crematory under the direction of Trimble Funeral Home. Private services will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made to the family.

Wynn was born December 27, 1951, in Princeton, Illinois, the son of Floyd and Ileen (Griffin) Vickrey. He married Arlette Hubbard on April 19, 1975, in Princeton.

He was a meat-cutter for IBP in Joslin, Illinois, worked in maintenance for Rock Island County, and most recently worked in security. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting, fishing, and mushroom hunting. He also enjoyed cooking.

Wynn is survived by his wife of 40-years, Arlette; two sons, Ian and Kara Vickrey of Brentwood, California, and Scott and Charlotte Vickrey of Prophetstown, Illinois; six grandchildren; a sister and brother-in-law, Joy and Tim Fox of Springfield, Illinois, a niece, Angie; two great-nieces; good friends, Larry and Stacie Collins, and their son Tyler all of Moline; and his beloved dog, Jack. He was preceded in death by his parents.
