June Felsman, 80, of Moline, Illinois, died Tuesday, July 5, 2011, in Trinity Rock Island, Rock Island, Illinois,
Services are 10 a.m. Thursday in the Celebration of Life Chapel at Trimble Funeral and Cremation Center, Moline. Burial is in Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline. Visitation is from 9:30 until 10 a.m. Thursday.
The former June Louise Heerde was born February 12, 1931, in Moline, the daughter of Fred and Bernice Anders Heerde. She married Gail R. Felsman in 1953, in Rock Island. He died November 3, 1989. She was employed at John Deere Plow-Planter Works for 22 years, retiring in 1985. She enjoyed sewing and cleaning, and was proud to have a clean house.
June is survived by three children and their spouses, Greg and Cynthia Becker of Andalusia, Illinois, Gay and Donald Straight of Desoto, Iowa, and Joy and Solomon Stoltzfus of Manheim, Pennsylvania; ten grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren; a sister, Cheri Smith of Fort Worth, Texas; and a special friend, Doris Lang of East Moline.
