William Lawrence Deininger

William L. "Bill" Deininger, 76, of Coal Valley, Illinois. Died, Monday, January 19, 2004 at Trinity Medical Center in Rock Island, Illinois.Services are 10:30 AM Saturday, at New Hope Baptist Church, Coal Valley, with the Reverend Jim Grieme officiating. Burial will be in Coal Valley Cemetery. Visitation is from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Friday at Trimble Funeral Home, Coal Valley. Memorial contributions may be made to the church.William Lawrence Deininger was born November 14, 1927 in Brownwood, Texas the son of William L. and Annetta Cecelia (Webb) Deininger. He served in the United States Navy during World War II. William married the former Jean M. Snodgrass on May 11, 1957 in Farmington, New Mexico. He was employed for over 25 years as a welder and pipefitter for Local 25 being affiliated with Natkin Mechanical Contractors.Bill was a member of the New Hope Baptist Church in Coal Valley where he spent much of his time serving on the board of trustees, and was a member of the American Legion Post 246 in Moline, Illinois, and the Local 25 Plumbers and Pipefitters Union. His family includes, his wife Jean of Coal Valley, a daughter and son-in-law, Karma and Dr. Dean Feldman of North Barrington, Illinois, and two sons, Dewey Gabbard of Albany, Illinois, and John Gabbard of Scheffield, England, two grandchildren, Alexander and Jenna Feldman of North Barrington, and a sister, Zaide Deininger of Sheridan, Wyoming.
