Moline, IllinoisWilliam James Fisher (Heald), 41, of Alpharetta, Georgia, formerly of Moline, died Sunday, April 4, 2004, in Alpharetta.A memorial service will be held at 6 p.m. Thursday at First Congregational Church, Moline, with The Reverend Rebecca Wentworth, officiating. Visitation will be one hour before the service at the church. Trimble Funeral Home, Moline, is assisting the family. Additional services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday at McDonald's Funeral Home, Cummings, Georgia. Memorials may be made to the Eric and Graeme Fisher Education fund or to the Victor C. Clark Youth Incentive Program at the American Radio Relay League, 225 Main Street, Newington CT 06111.Bill was born November 26, 1962, in Moline, the son of James and Linda Ortman Heald. He graduated from Moline High School in 1981, where he played football. He attended Northpark College, Chicago, where he played football, and graduated from Northeast Missouri College, Kirksville, in 1985. He was owner and operator of Acorn Electronics and had an interest in Concentric Systems Incorporated.He loved Amateur Radio and was a multiple winner of national and international ham radio contests. He loved to ride his bicycle through his beloved Atlanta countryside.Bill is survived by his wife, Dana Fisher; two children, Graeme and Eric; his mother, Linda Ortman of Moline; his father and step-mother, James and Cindy Heald of Moline; a brother and sister-in-law, Steve and Marisa Heald of Moline; a niece, Sydney Heald of Moline; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
