Mary M. Craterfield, 67, of East Moline, Illinois, died Saturday, May 14, 2011, in Hope Creek Care Center, East Moline.
Private graveside services and burial will be Wednesday at Mount Olivet Catholic Cemetery, Braidwood, Illinois. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Memory Unit at Hope Creek Care Center. Trimble Funeral and Cremation Center, Moline, is assisting the family.
The former Mary Martha Bosonetta was born February 15, 1944, in Joliet, Illinois, the daughter of Anton and Martha Gallo Bosonetta. She was employed by the Federal Government at Joliet and Rock Island, Illinois, Ft. Knox, Kentucky, and Kenosha, Wisconsin, for 20 years, retiring due to disability in 2000. She was a member of Assumption Catholic Church, Coal City, Illinois, and enjoyed crafts, quilting, and knitting.
Mary is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Thomas and Mollye Craterfield of Geneseo, Illinois; a daughter, Tracy Craterfield of Atlanta, Georgia; three grandchildren, Jessica Ann Phalen and Caine and Caleb Craterfield; a brother and sister-in-law, Anton and Irene Bosonetta of Coal City; a sister and brother-in-law, Joann and Calvin Peters of Rock Island, and a special ?sister? with whom she was raised, Shelby Mantuszewski of Morris, Illinois.
