Willa Wyjack Deahl, 70, of Davenport, Iowa, died Tuesday, November 23, 2021, in Genesis East Medical Center, Davenport.
Cremation will take place at Trimble Crematory, Moline, Illinois, under the direction of Cremation Society of the Quad Cities. A memorial service will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Monday, December 13, at Adventure Christian Community, 6509 Northwest Blvd, Davenport, IA 52806, with Pastor Tony Liston officiating.
The former Willa Ruth Wyjack was born April 11, 1951, in Iowa City, Iowa to John Lawrence and Ruth (Fowler) Wyjack. She graduated from Assumption High School in Davenport Iowa, and married John Deahl on May 7, 1988, in Davenport. She was a door greeter at Sam’s Club for 20 years. Willa enjoyed family and friends! She enjoyed fishing ,bowling , bingo, goodwill hunting and shopping, and loved to travel in her younger days out to Massachusetts to visit family. She enjoyed camping, fires, and being out doors. Loved her family & friends dearly. She will truly be missed by many and had a heart of gold!
Willa is survived by her husband, John; two sons, Chris Wyjack and Jonathan Deahl, both of Davenport; daughter-in-law, Jamie Baker of Davenport; five grandchildren, Abigail Reese, Brooke Baker, Rylan Baker, Tyler Miller and Jonathan Deahl; and a brother, John L. Wyjack of Centerville, Iowa. She was preceded in death by a brother, Harvey Wyjack.
