Twylia Williams

Milan, Illinois Twylia Williams, 82, of Milan, died Sunday, November 17, 2002, at the Mercer County Nursing Home, Aledo. Funeral Services will be Thursday at 1:00 PM at Trimble Funeral Home, Aledo. Burial will be in Drury-Reynolds Cemetery. Visitation is two hours prior to services. Memorials may be made to the Andalusia Ambulance Service or the Mercer County Nursing Home. Twylia was born on September 13, 1920 in Eliza Township, Mercer County, Illinois to Roy W. and Elsie Mae (Seright) Johnson. She married Merle S. Fetters on October 8, 1939, in DeWitt, Iowa. He preceded her in death on May 4, 1956. she married Mack Elbert Williams on October 6, 1965 in Muscatine, Iowa. He preceded her in death on December 17, 1993. Twylia was a 1938 graduate of Reynolds High School. She enjoyed growing and tending to her roses and traveling with her husband, Mack. She had been homebound the last several years and enjoyed corresponding with others in the Good Neighbors Club. Twylia is survived by her two daughters and their husbands: Janet and Norman Dunlap of Milan and Linda and Robert Whitney of Aledo and 4 grandchildren: Doug Dunlap of Denver, CO; Chris Dunlap of Livermore, CA; Allan Whitney of Logansport, IN and Lori Whitney of Aledo. Twylia was preceded in death by her parents; husbands; an infant son, James Marvin Fetters and a brother, Kenneth Eugene Johnson.
