Trudy B. Kilheeney

Trudy B. Kilheeney, 72, of Colona, Illinois, died Friday, June 18, 2021, at University of Iowa Hospitals & Clinics, Iowa City.

Services are 11:00 a.m. Saturday, June 26, in the Horizon Room at Trimble Funeral Home at Trimble Pointe, 701 12th Street, Moline. Immediately following services, family will host a funeral luncheon with Harris Pizza and cocktails at CityView Celebrations in the lower level of Trimble Pointe. Cremation will take place prior to services at Trimble Crematory.

The former Trudy Belle Kilheeney was born March 18, 1949, in Chicago Heights, Illinois, the daughter of Charles and Lois (Blanton) Johnston. She married Kenneth J. Kilheeney on November 8, 1980. He died in October of 1994. She worked for H & R Accounts, Inc. in Moline and Eye Surgeons Associates.

She was an avid Chicago Cubs, Bears and Bulls fan. She also enjoyed watching westerns. Above all else, family was the most important thing to her, especially her grandchildren.

Trudy is survived by two sons, Michael (Tiffany) Kilheeney of East Moline, and Sean (Aundrea Wright) Kilheeney of Moline; three grandchildren, Eli Wright, Kyrine Schmacht, and Kadyn Ellis; siblings, Patricia McCaffery, Cheryl Sullivan, Terry Johnston, Evvi Hall, Janice Johnston, Julie Searight, Joel Johnston, Tomi Miller, and Geri Acuff; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
