Tracy J. McNealey

Tracy J. McNealey, 76, of Davenport, Iowa, died Sunday, March 23, at Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House, Bettendorf, surrounded by the love of her family.

Cremation will take place at Trimble Crematory, Moline, Illinois, under the direction of Cremation Society of the Quad Cities. A private burial will take place at Davenport Memorial Park. A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.

Tracy Jean McNealey was born on May 14, 1948, in Milwuakee, Wisconsin, the daughter of Charles Lloyd and Geraldine Norma (Radmer) Burke. She pursued a degree in computer programming before embarking on a successful 25-year career in the insurance industry.

On August 28, 1965, Tracy married the love of her life, Jack Harold McNealey, in Davenport, Iowa. Together, they built a beautiful life, rich with love, laughter, and cherished traditions. Tracy was a longtime member of Trinity Lutheran Church before later attending Grace Lutheran Church, where her faith remained a guiding light.

She found joy in life’s simple pleasures—spending days on the golf course, casting a fishing line into the water, and, most of all, making precious memories with her grandchildren. Tracy and Jack made it a priority to take their family on annual trips, creating lasting experiences that brought endless joy. Her children and grandchildren were her absolute pride and joy, and she embraced every moment spent with them.

Tracy is survived by her beloved husband, Jack; children, Tony (Patty) McNealey and Travis McNealey; grandchildren, Joseph, Nathan, and Madison; siblings, Tom (Teresa) Burke, Jim (Sharon) Burke, Andy (Peggy) Burke, and Sue Peppers; and a sister-in-law, Sue Burke. She was also loved by many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded by her parents, Charles and Geraldine Burke; and her brother, Tim Burke.

Tracy’s warmth, generosity, and unwavering love for her family will be forever missed but never forgotten.
