Theresa Diane Miller was born May 31, 1958, in Davenport, Iowa, the daughter of Richard “Dick” Merrill and MaryAnn Rose (Marks) Hensel. She Attended Truman State University in Northeast Missouri and later married Thomas John Miller on June 21, 1980, in Davenport, Iowa. She worked in customer service at Mediacom for 25 years prior to retiring in 2023.

For 25 years, Terri worked in customer service at Mediacom, where her friendly personality and warm heart left a lasting impression on coworkers and customers alike. She was proud to be a member of Jaycees and was especially honored to be named Best Seller at Mediacom.

She was a dedicated member of Sacred Heart Cathedral, the Tenderloin Club, and the Iowa Lottery VIP Club. She found joy in the simple pleasures—visiting the farmers market, cheering on the River Bandits, and most of all, passionately rooting for her beloved Chicago Cubs. Whether it was playing Yahtzee, watching The Voice, or indulging in her favorite Mexican food, Terri embraced life with enthusiasm. Her love for animals, especially her cherished cats, and the joy of spending time with her grandkids, taking pictures, and making memories brought her endless happiness.

Family was everything to Terri, and she loved unconditionally. She will be remembered for her kindness, her sense of humor, her legendary dance moves at family gatherings, and even her ability to creatively curse in different languages. She had a way of making ordinary moments extraordinary, and those who knew her will forever carry her spirit in their hearts.

Terri is survived by her husband, Thomas; children, Valerie, Lee, and Kevin Miller; grandchildren, Brock Atwood, Aviana Rice-Miller, Cody Atwood, and Isabella Spidle; brother, James (Kate) Hensel; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded by her parents, Dick and MaryAnn Hensel; and In-laws, William and Patricia Miller.

The next time you take a trip to Chicago or Nebraska, roll a lucky Yahtzee, or raise a Keystone, think of Terri and the joy she brought to those around her. Her love, laughter, and unforgettable spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
