Theodocia M. Cruse, 103, of Davenport, Iowa, formerly of Moline, Illinois, died Friday, December 12, 2014, in Bickford Cottage, Davenport, Iowa.
Cremation will take place at Trimble Crematory, Moline. Her family will hold a private celebration of her life.
Theo was born November 13, 1911, in Baldwin, Iowa. She worked for Fresh Pak Candies, Moline, for several years, and then worked out of her home as a beautician.
She was preceded in death by her daughters, Suzanne Wilson and Gloria Carlson, and her mother Effie Gibson. She is survived by her grandchildren and their spouses, Mark (Cathy) Wilson, Steve Wilson, Tim (Lori) Wilson, Beth (Jim) Carlson, Andrea (John) Bain, and Chris Carlson; great-grandchildren, Stephanie Wilson, Erik (Courtney) Wilson, Ethan Wilson, Emiley Wilson, Nick Lamar, Sean (Allie) Bain, and Christie (Brian) Firth; and great-great-grandchildren, Connor Wilson and Natalie Firth. She is also survived by her extended family, True Dee (Tony) Sorgen, Nikki (Todd) Baumann and children Evie and Eme, Ben (Shay) Sorgen, Kelly (Brent) Sterk, and Kathy Kilburg.
Theo was taken care of by many special friends and family, which made her able to stay in her own home until she was 100 years old. Thanks to everyone who made this happen. She will be greatly missed.
