Thelma C. Hall, 80, of Moline, Illinois, died Saturday, May 13, 2006, in her son?s home in Moline.
Requiem Mass is 11 a.m. Tuesday at Christ Episcopal Church, Moline, with Canon Ed den Blaauwen SSC officiating. Cremation will follow the services and private interment will be in National Cemetery on the Rock Island Arsenal. Visitation is 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at Trimble Funeral and Cremation Center, Moline. Memorials may be made to Gilda?s Club or Arrowhead Ranch.
The former Thelma Kathryn Crozier was born October 17, 1925, in Victoria, Illinois, the daughter of Roy and Leota (Ives) Crozier. She graduated from Methodist Hospital School of Nursing, Peoria. She married Norris P. Hall on April 26, 1944, in Elmwood, Illinois. He died May 10, 1989. She worked at the former Moline Public Hospital as a registered nurse in obstetrics for 30 years, retiring in 1987.
Following her retirement, Thelma was an active volunteer with the American Red Cross, where she served on the National Disaster Team, Arrowhead Ranch, and Moline Activity Center. She was a member of Christ Episcopal Church, Moline, and Episcopal Church Women, and active in the Red Hat Club. She enjoyed her family and her many friends.
Thelma is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Michael and Susan Hall of Earlville, Illinois, and Jeffery and Patty Hall of Moline; five grandchildren and their spouses, Kimberly and Patrick McGann, Michael II and Dana Hall, Ryan and Megan Hall, Eric and Stephanie Hall, and Jon and Angie Hall; seven great-grandchildren, Liam and Bridget McGann, Alex Hall, Logan and Abigail Hall, Andrew Hall, and Alina Hall; and a sister, Elvessa King of Jefferson, Wisconsin. She was preceded in death by her husband, a brother, Dale Crozier, and sisters, Ethelyn Myers and Anita Brown.
