Terry L. Jordan, 58, of Moline, Illinois, died Thursday, August 3, 2017, at University of Iowa Hospital, Iowa City.

A memorial gathering to celebrate Terry's life will be Sunday, September 17, 2017, beginning at 2:00 p.m. at Stephen's Park (601-657 15th Ave., Moline) for a memorial draw Rolle Bolle tournament, followed by a dinner and silent auction at Friend's Circle Club (701 18th Ave., Moline). Cremation will take place at Trimble Crematory, Moline, under the direction of the Cremation Society of the Quad Cities. Burial will take place at Dayton Cemetery, Colona, at a later date.

He was born January 21, 1959, in Geneseo, Illinois, the son of Irvin Clifford Sr. and Dorothy "Dot" (Arnold) Jordan. He had been married to Tamra Hostens, with whom he had two daughters and remained good friends. He was a truck driver, most recently for Air-Land Transport Service in East Moline.

He enjoyed playing rolle-bolle, pool, darts, and bowling. He enjoyed playing Pokémon Go, Farmville, and World of Warcraft with his daughters and adopted children. He was "Dad" to all of his daughters' friends that walked in his door, and they all loved him very much.

Terry is survived by two daughters, Trisha (Jonathan) Coats, and Tangee (Hershel Boone) Jordan, all of Moline; a granddaughter, Serenity Coats; siblings, Irvin "Cliff" (Linda) Jordan Jr., Earl (Connie) Jordan, Randy Jordan, and Dale (Cindy) Jordan; a sister-in-law, Barb Jordan; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Carl Jordan; an infant brother, Lyle; and a sister-in-law, Nancy Jordan.
