Terrence S. Finch

Terrence S. "Terry" Finch, 63, of Davenport, Iowa, died Thursday, June 19, 2014, in Genesis East Medical Center, Davenport.

Services are 10 a.m. Tuesday in the Celebration of Life Chapel at Trimble Funeral and Cremation Center, Moline. Burial is in Rock Island National Cemetery. Visitation is one hour before the services. Memorials may be made to Timothy's House of Hope, Davenport.

Terrence Scott Finch was born October 30, 1950, in Selma, Iowa, to Henry Arthur and Mildred Anna Stock Finch. He graduated from Davenport West High School in 1968, and from the University of Iowa in 1972, with a degree in Business Administration. He served in the U. S. Army during the Vietnam War. He was an accountant with the Illinois Department of Employment Security for 33 years, retiring in 2013. He enjoyed music, playing his guitar, golf, and chess.

Terry is survived by a daughter, Adrianne Somes of Taylor Ridge, Illinois, and several cousins including Ron Stock and his wife Gloria, and their daughters and sons-in-law, Christine and Wally Woods and Charlene and Al Mosher and their families, all of Davenport. He was preceded in death by his parents, his twin sister, Debbie, and his brother, Dennis.
