Terry L. Hubbard, 58, of Moline, Illinois, died Wednesday, November 23, 2005, in Trinity Medical Center, Rock Island.
Services are 11 a.m. Monday in First Lutheran Church, Rock Island, with Rev. Gregory Mayer officiating. Burial is in National Cemetery on the Rock Island Arsenal. Visitation is 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday at Trimble Funeral and Cremation Center, Moline. Memorials may be made to the church or a favorite charity.
Terrence Lee Hubbard was born August 26, 1947, in Moline, the son of Donald B. and Marilyn (Kidd) Hubbard. He served in the US Army in Korea during the Viet Nam war. He married Leslie Kinne on June 24, 1978, in Rock Island. He was employed as manager for Maid-Rite Restaurants in the Quad Cities for 30 years, and was currently working the Milan Maid-Rite. He was a member of First Lutheran Church, Rock Island, and the Porsche Club of America, and enjoyed reading and NASCAR Racing.
Terry is survived by his wife, Leslie; a daughter, Stacy McNew of Rock Island; a son, Mike Koehler of Denver, Colorado; three grandchildren, Alyssa Meeks and Shawn and Shelby McNew; his mother, Marilyn Hubbard of Coal Valley; siblings and spouses, Kim D. Hubbard of Moline, Lisa and Dan Wolever of Geneseo, and Jay A. Hubbard and Debbie Prather of Coal Valley; aunts, Joan Pealstrom of Rock Island and Dolores Boquist of Coal Valley; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father.
