Terrence L. Bragg

Terrence L. Bragg, 52, of Rock Island, Illinois, passed away Monday, August 12, 2024.

Services are 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 21, at Word of Life Church, Rock Island, with The Rev. Lorenzo Martin officiating. Visitation is 11:00 a.m. until time of services. Trimble Funeral Home & Crematory, Moline, is entrusted with arrangements. Memorials may be made to the family for a fund to be established in Terrence’s memory.

Born on October 9, 1971, in Davenport, Iowa, Terrence was the beloved son of Sereatha Bragg and Thornlee Miller. 

Terrence was a dedicated truck driver, proudly owning and operating Bragg Trucking LLC. His work brought him great joy, but nothing compared to the love he had for his children. He cherished every moment spent with them and was a devoted father who radiated kindness and generosity.

Terrence was a man with a good soul, always eager to lend a helping hand and share his wisdom with others. He had a natural gift for making people laugh and spreading joy wherever he went. Whether it was through his contagious laughter or his love for dancing, Terrence had an undeniable presence that lit up the room. 

His compassion, positivity, and dedication to those around him will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Terrence is survived by his beloved children, Damonte Stewart of Davenport, Ebonie McGee of East Moline, Amere Bragg of Davenport, and Paris Bragg of Davenport; two grandchildren, Alaijah Stewart and Azaria Stewart, both of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; his mother, Sereatha Hopkins of Covington, Georgia; siblings, Shirelle (Rick) Brown of Hampton, Georgia, Deric Quest, Deon Hinton, Teresa Pugh, Temetria Miller, Ratasha Miller, Andre Miller, Chris Hinton, Shone Tenner, and Okena Millbrook along with a host of other brothers, sisters, family and friends too numerous to list. He was preceded in death by his father, Thornlee Miller, step-father, James Edward Hopkins, and his grandmother, Cleo Liddell.
