Teckla L. Rasmussen

Moline, Illinois Teckla L. Rasmussen, 90, of Moline, died Tuesday, March 16, 2004, in Trinity Medical Center, Rock Island. Services are 11:30 a.m. Friday at Trinity Lutheran Church, Moline, with The Reverend Gary LaCroix officiating. Entombment is in Moline Memorial Park Mausoleum. Visitation is 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Trimble Funeral Home, Moline. Memorials may be made to her church, American Heart Association, or Diabetes Association. The former Teckla Lucille Malmrose was born August 28, 1913, in Rock Island, the daughter of Charles and Augusta (Lövstrand) Malmrose. She married Harold A. Rasmussen on November 16, 1934, in Rock Island. She was corporate secretary for her husband's firm, General Pattern Corp., Moline. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Moline, for 69 years, and a member of Goodwill Circle of the church, Semper Fidelis Circle of King's Daughters, and the former Lutheran Hospital Auxiliary. Her family was important to her, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and she enjoyed knitting, sewing, cooking and reading. Teckla is survived by her husband of 69 years, Harold; daughters and sons-in-law, Pat and Robert Schluter of Rock Island, and Bonnie and Ralph Stephenson of Moline; three grandchildren and their spouses, Debra and Nicholas Rollick, Darcy and Blake Anderson, and Scott and Stephanie Stephenson; and seven great-grandchildren, Nicholas and Ashley Rollick, Kelsey and Abby Anderson, and Rachel Milroy and Makenna and Carter Stephenson.
