Tammy Holloway

Tammy Holloway, 59, of Bettendorf, Iowa, died Tuesday, July 30, 2024, at home.

Private graveside services will be held at Fairview Cemetery, Waterloo, Iowa. Cremation will take place at Trimble Crematory, Moline, Illinois, under the direction of Cremation Society of the Quad Cities. Memorials may be made to the University of Iowa Cancer Center.

Tammy Lynn Holloway was born March 4, 1965, in Waterloo, Iowa, the daughter of Wilma (Sanders) Wright. 

Tammy had a passion for puzzles and crafts, loved listening to music (especially Michael Jackson), enjoyed being outdoors and admiring flowers, and always looked forward to her Whitey’s ice cream and ginger ale. Most importantly, she cherished her family.

Tammy is survived by three siblings, Lisa Wright-Hoskins of Bettendorf, Kristin (Roosevelt Knight, Jr.) Wright of Bettendorf, and Royce (Missy Whitfield) Wright of Davenport; her “bonus” sister, Tina (Joseph) Garcia of Rock Island, Illinois; and a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother, Wilma “Winnee” Wright; and her grandparents who raised Tammy, Arthur J. and Ella Pearl Holloway.
