Taloyre M. Clemmer

Silvis, Illinois Taloyre Marie Clemmer, 87, of Belle Plaine, Iowa, died Monday, January 5, 2004,
at Illini Restorative Care, Silvis, Illinois. Services are 11 a.m. Saturday, January 10, 2004, at Christ United Methodist Church, Belle Plaine, Iowa. Burial is in Oak Hill Cemetery, Belle Plaine. Visitation is two hours before the services at the church. Trimble Funeral Home, Moline, is in charge of arrangements. The former Taloyre Marie Esshom was born March 27, 1916, in Belle Plaine, Iowa, the daughter of Edmund Royce and Hilva (Troselius) Esshom. She married William Clemmer in 1946, in Council Bluffs, Iowa. He died November 11, 1991. She was employed at Alliant energy for 35 years retiring in 1983. She was very active in her church and also with the local PEO Chapter. She moved to East Moline in 2002 to be closer to her family. She enjoyed all of her nieces and nephews and their families. Survivors include her brother and sister-in-law, Ralph and Norma Esshom of Kansas City, Missouri, a sister-in-law, Beverlee Sherwood of Belle Plaine, and several nieces and nephews and their families, including a nephew Jim Barber and his wife Linda, of East Moline. She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, and two sisters, Marion Barber and Catherine Windland.
