Stephen A. "Paige" Pekios

Stephen A. "Paige" Pekios, 39, of Davenport, Iowa, died unexpectedly on Friday, September 28, 2018, in Los Angeles, California.

A time of sharing for family and friends will be 3:00 p.m. Sunday in the Horizon Room at Trimble Funeral Home at Trimble Pointe, Moline. Visitation is from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. Cremation will take place following services at Trimble Crematory, Moline. Memorials may be made to the Salvation Army or a favorite charity.

Stephen Alex Pekios was born September 30, 1978, in Davenport, to Stephen L. and Shelly R. (Lee) Pekios. After graduating from North High School in 1996, Stephen had been married to Deena Jacobsen, and the couple had four children together. Stephen was an overhead crane operator for SSAB in Blue Grass.

Stephen was quite an athlete in high school, taking part in track, as well as golf, waterskiing, and scouts. Fishing, dancing, and videogames were also favorites of Stephen.

Stephen is survived by four children, Alexander, Luke, Isaac, and Olivia Pekios; father, Stephen Pekios of Davenport; maternal grandmother, Lois Lee of Davenport; paternal grandparents, Chuck and Barbara Pekios of Bettendorf; siblings, Ashley (Eric) Curtiss of Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, Michael Pekios of Davenport, Kimberly (fiancé Barrett Pribyl) Pekios of Denver, Colorado, and Hannah Pekios of Davenport; two nieces, Ashlynn Pepe and Mia Seibel; aunts and uncles, Sheri (Bill) Bonsall of New Jersey, Scott (Patty) Lee of Moline, Kathleen (Bob) Fahrenkrog of Pleasant Valley, Iowa, Stephanie Larson of Bettendorf, Charlie Pekios of Walcott, Iowa, Julie Antle of Davenport, and Jill (Chris) Yates of Bettendorf; many cousins, including a special cousin, Stacy Bonsall; and special friends, Vicki Adair and Amy Zuniga. Preceding in death were Stephen's mother, Shelly Lee-Pekios, maternal grandfather, William Lee; and paternal grandmother, Barbara A. Pekios.
