Stacey L. (Buckley) Archer, 60, of Milan, Illinois, formerly of Moline, Illinois, died Sunday, April 20, 2025, at Silvis Center, Silvis, Illinois, after an eight-year battle with breast cancer, fought with remarkable courage and grace.
A hospitality gathering to celebrate Stacey’s life complete with food and beverage will be 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Thursday, April 24, at CityView Celebrations at Trimble Pointe (Lower Level), 701 12th Street, Moline. The family invites friends to dress casually. Cremation will take place prior to services at Trimble Crematory. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Gilda’s Club.
Stacey Lynn Buckley was born October 8, 1964, in Iowa, the daughter of Ralph Edward and Kathleen Ruth (Aland) Buckley. She married Luc Martel and the couple had two daughters together prior to separating.
Professionally, Stacey was a purchaser, working for several area companies over the years, most notably Barjan Products in Rock Island.
Family was everything to Stacey. She is survived by her beloved daughters and sons-in-law, Kelsey and Jeremy Smith of Bettendorf, Iowa, and Kensie and Colby Carr of Normal, Illinois; and her cherished grandchildren, Dayton McGee, Justin Drake, Jeremy Smith, Jr., Ava Smith, Leo Carr, and Remy Carr. She also leaves behind her mother and step-father, Kathleen and Mark Hamrick of Moline; and her brothers and sisters-in-law, Steve Buckley, Brian and Caren Buckley, and John and Kris Buckley. She was preceded in death by her father, Ralph Buckley.
