Sonia G. Carlson

Sonia G. Carlson, 57, of Buffalo, Iowa, passed away Tuesday, April 7, 2020, at home.

A gathering to celebrate Sonia’s life will be held at a later date when allowed. Cremation will take place at Trimble Crematory, Moline, under the direction of Trimble Funeral Home.

The former Sonia Gay Fisher was born May 31, 1962, in Davenport, Iowa, the daughter of Richard Grant and Carolyn Faye (Sheets) Fisher. She married Jack Carlson on June 22, 1979, in Buffalo.

She was the manager of Casey’s General Store in Buffalo, and she absolutely loved her job. She enjoyed camping and listening to music.

Sonia is survived by her beloved husband of over 40 years, Jack; her mother, Carolyn Stogdill of Tipton, Iowa; siblings, Janita Fisher of Tipton, Kent (Roxanne) Stogdill of Buffalo, and Tara Stogdill of Davenport; and many nieces and nephews and their families. She was preceded in death by her father, Richard Fisher.
