Jane Martin, 93, of Moline, Illinois, died Thursday, August 11, 2011, in Alpine Fireside Heath Center in Rockford, Illinois.

Services are 1:00 p.m. Monday, August 22, 2011, in the Celebration of Life Chapel at Trimble Funeral and Cremation Center, Moline. Visitation is 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. Sunday. Burial is in Moline Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family.

The former Christina Jane Kaeser was born July 6, 1918, in Moline, the daughter of Samuel A. and Myrtle (McKenna) Kaeser. She married Emerson Martin on June 6, 1969. He died April 19, 1998.

Jane worked for Sportsland in Moline as a bookkeeper for seven years, retiring in 1974.

She was a lifelong member of Riverside United Methodist Church, Moline, and was active in the United Methodist Women. She was a 60-year member of Margaret Bottome-McGee Circle of Kings Daughters. She enjoyed baking with her husband, gardening, and needlework, and was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother.

Jane is survived by grandchildren and their spouses, Lori and Mark McEntee, and Gayle Addis, all of Rockford, Charles Addis of Clackamas, Oregon, and Robert and Jennifer Addis of Lake In The Hills, Illinois, a daughter-in-law, JoAnn Menchinger of Sun Center City, Florida, ten great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandsons. She was preceded in death by a son, Charles Addis, and a brother, Sam Kaeser.
