Shultze F. Bellmyer

Shultze F. Bellmyer, 87, of Moline, Illinois, died Wednesday, November 22, 2023, in Allure of the Quad Cities, Moline.

Cremation will take place at Trimble Crematory, Moline, under the direction of Trimble Funeral Home.
A Celebration of Shultze’s life will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital or Alzheimer’s Association.

Shultze Fran Bellmyer was born July 3, 1936, in La Harpe, Illinois, to Irwin and Laura (Schultz) Bellmyer.  He was raised by his mother and step-father, Victor Green.  He married Darlene Rauch on September 8, 1956, in Rock Island. He was the owner of Riverview Surplus in Moline for more than 20 years, and previously worked at B & B Surplus and Sears Warehouse.  He was a NASCAR, Iowa Hawkeye, and Chicago Bears fan, and enjoyed drag racing at Cordova.

Shultze is survived by his wife, Darlene; two sons and daughters-in-law, Jeff and Patti Bellmyer of Moline, and Jerry and Lisa Bellmyer of Powell, Wyoming; five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his mother and step-father, and brother, George Bellmyer.
