Sharon L. Larson, 80, of Blue Grass, Iowa, peacefully departed this world on August 12, 2024, at Select Specialty Hospital in Davenport, Iowa.
Private burial is in Rock Island National Cemetery. Cremation will take place at Trimble Crematory, Moline, under the direction of Cremation Society of the Quad Cities.
The former Sharon Lee Cirrencione was born August 11, 1944, in Elwood, Illinois, the daughter of Roger and Lillian (McCormick) Cirrencione. She married the love of her life, Fred Larson, on October 31, 1985, in Davenport. Sharon worked as office manager for Fred Larson's Construction Services, where her dedication and hard work shone brightly.
Sharon had a passion for cooking that delighted those around her. Her culinary creations brought joy to many, and her green thumb was evident in the beautiful gardens she tended with care. Sharon's love for flowers bloomed alongside her love for her family.
Sharon is survived by her husband, Fred; three children, Steve (Stacie) Cunningham of Wentzville, Missouri, Nicky (Mark) Esau of Davenport, and Lena (Dave Glover) Larson of Davenport; four grandchildren, Ava and Mia Cunningham, Kyle (Kaitlyn) Franklin, and Kaleb Whaley; two great-grandchildren, Peyton and Bennett; and her beloved cat, Smokey. She was preceded in death by her parents, and her brothers, Kenneth and Ronald Cirrencione.
