Scott F. Wisely, Sr.

Scott F. Wisely, Sr., 61, of Silvis, Illinois, died Wednesday, January 6, 2021, at home.

Cremation will take place at Trimble Crematory, Moline, under the direction of Trimble Funeral Home. Burial is in Moline Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to the family, c/o Scott Wisely, Jr., for a fund to be established in Scott’s memory.

Scott Francisco Wisely was born July 22, 1959, in Moline, to Georgia Hazeltine. He attended school in the Moline School District until he graduated. He then continued to reside in the Quad City area for a majority of his life.

Scott was a very smart man of many talents who enjoyed working on everything from cars to computers and every electronic you could possibly think of. He fulfilled his life helping others and would go out of his way to make sure the people in his community especially the children wouldn’t go without.

Survivors include his brother, Reed Wisely, past wives Virginia, Latrisha, and Poe Pree. His children, Sara Wisely of Rock Island, Sandra Wisely (Joe Behrends) of Mt. Sterling, Illinois, Scott Wisely Jr. of Silvis, Reed Wisely (Jami) of Moline, Alaina Wisely, and Eh Pe Paw; 2 granddaughters; 1 grandson; and another granddaughter expected later this year; and special friends, Jose and Gloria Gonzalez.

Scott was proceeded in death by his mother, Georgia Frank; two brothers, Alan and Randy Wisely; and a very close friend and brother, Jim Gibbs.
