Sally A. Talbot

Sally A. Talbot, 82, of East Moline, Illinois, died Friday, June 2, 2017, in Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House, Bettendorf, Iowa.

Private burial will be in Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline. Trimble Funeral Home & Crematory, Moline, is in charge of arrangements. Memorials may be made to Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House.

The former Sally Ann Techlin was born November 13, 1934, in Moline, the daughter of William and Eva (Martens) Techlin. She married Donald Talbot on March 20, 1955, in Kahoka, Missouri. She was an R.N. trained in pediatrics, psychology, and surgical, for Lutheran Hospital and then Moline Public Hospital, where she was also the 5 North floor manager.

She enjoyed camping, fishing, and wildlife, whether it be backyard critters or her beloved cats. Above all else, she loved spending time with her family, especially her granddaughter, Rachel.

Sally is survived by her husband of 62 years, Don; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Mike and Kelly Talbot of Princeton, Iowa, and Mark Talbot of East Moline; her granddaughter, Rachel Talbot and her significant other, T.J. Hipple, of Davenport; and two special nieces, Kathy Jo Oliver and Brenda Neighbours, both of Florida.
