Melaney S. Green-Doggett, 58, of East Moline, Illinois, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, November 30, 2008, in Trinity Medical Center, Rock Island.
Services are 1 p.m. Thursday in Green Rock Free Will Baptist Church, Colona. Burial is in Rock Island National Cemetery. Visitation is 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Trimble Funeral and Cremation Center, Moline. Memorials may be made to the family.
The former Melaney Susan Green was born March 25, 1950, in Davenport, Iowa, the daughter of Hal Dudley and Martha (Williams) Green. She married Robert H. Doggett on June 25, 1983, in Rock Island. He died December 9, 2002.
Melaney is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Donald (Joe) and Amy Smith and John M. and Tara Smith, all of Colona, Illinois; five grandchildren, Cole M. and Morgan S. Smith, and Ricky M, John J. and Noah R. Smith; and nine brothers and sisters.
