Ruth E. Veeder

Viola, Illinois Graveside services for Ruth E. Veeder, 86, of Viola, will be held on Thursday at 2:30 PM at Petrie Cemetery, New Windsor. Visitation will be from 1-2 PM on Thursday at Trimble Funeral Home, Aledo. Memorials may be made to your favorite charity. Ruth died on Monday, March 5, 2001 at Lynncrest Manor, Aledo. Ruth was born on January 23, 1915 in Preemption, Illinois to John and Elizabeth (Schoening) Hill. She married Clarke W. Veeder on November 28, 1934 in Knoxville, Illinois. He preceded her in death on June 4, 1967. Ruth cleaned homes and offices in the area. Ruth was a member of the Viola United Methodist Church and the of the Eastern Star. Ruth is survived by two brothers, Gary Hill of North Henderson and Ralph Hill, Sr. of Aledo and several nieces and nephews, including Rita Haizlip of Aledo. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and a brother, Robert Hill on January 26, 2001. END OF OBITUARY
