Rosemary Curry

Rosemary Curry, 63, of Reynolds, Illinois, died Tuesday, May 24, 2016, in her home, surrounded by family.

A memorial gathering to celebrate her life will be held at the American Legion Post #1166 in Reynolds, on Tuesday, May 31, 2016, from 5-7 p.m. Cremation will take place at Trimble Crematory, Moline, under the direction of Cremation Society of the Quad Cities.

The former Rosemary Martinez was born August 21, 1952, in San Diego, California, to Juan and Lidia (Martinez) Martinez. She was active in childcare at Head Start in Rock Island, Illinois, and Navy Relief in Hawaii.

Survivors include her husband, David Curry of Reynolds; children, Roxanne Hernandez of Northern California, Leo Moran of Hawaii, and Erik Curry of Reynolds; granddaughter, Isis Moran; siblings, Alicia, Suzanne, Robert, Placido, Elizabeth, and Lidia; David's parents, Richard and Bonnie Curry of Reynolds; his grandparents, Harold and Florence Curry of Milan; his siblings, Roger Curry, Vickie Ireland, Marty Curry, and Valerie Murray; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, and brothers, Juan and Rafael.
