Rose M. Flynn, 65, of Abingdon, Illinois, died Monday, March 17, 2025, at Allure of Knox County, Galesburg, surrounded by family.
Cremation will take place at Trimble Crematory, Moline, Illinois, under the direction of Cremation Society of the Quad Cities. A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
Rose Marie Flynn was born on January 7, 1960, in Moline, Illinois, to Jackie and Mildred (Fry) Huber, Sr. She dedicated over 25 years to her career as a CNA. On March 6, 1986, she married her soulmate, Alan Flynn, in Las Vegas, Nevada.
She cherished traveling with Alan in his semi, exploring the world together. They made it a mission to visit every football and NASCAR stadium imaginable. Above all, she treasured her family, finding the greatest joy in spending time with her grandchildren.
Rose is survived by her beloved husband, Alan; children, Tami (Kevin B.) Mendenhall, Robert (Tonya) Huber, and Nicholas (Tina L.) Flynn; grandchildren, Kimberly (Cody) Park, Zack (Patience) Huber, Kera Medenhall, Carson Huber, Coby Huber, and Gage Wickert; great-grandchildren, Blake Huber, Conner Huber, and Victoria Park; siblings, Chris Horseford, Shelly Jones, Frank Huber, Roy (Suzie) Huber, and Jackie Huber Jr; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded by her parents and siblings, Joe Huber, Gary Huber, and Carol Klinebough.
Rose's warm smile and compassionate heart will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
