Moline, Illinois Roscoe S. Wilson, 87, of Moline, died Saturday, June 14, 2003, in Illini Hospital, Silvis, Illinois. Services are 11 a.m. Tuesday at First Evangelical Free Church, Moline, with The Reverend Andrew Goffinet officiating. Burial is in Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline. Visitation is 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Trimble Funeral Home, Moline. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the church, Arrowhead Ranch, or Genesis Dialysis Service. Mr. Wilson was born July 31, 1915, in Moline, the son of Fred T. and Rena (Jones) Wilson. He served in the U. S. Army's Occupation Force in Japan during WW II. He married Vera M. Clark in 1936, in Moline. She died in 1985. He married Edith Limkeman Sidlinger in 1989, in Moline. She died May 6, 2002. He was employed at Montgomery Elevator Company, Moline, for 51 years, retiring as Mail Department Manager in 1987. He was a member of First Evangelical Free Church, Moline, volunteered at Arrowhead Ranch for several years, and had been active with Youth For Christ. He was an accomplished violin player. Roscoe is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Paul and Beverly Wilson of Palmdale, California; step-daughters, Joyce Archibald, and her husband Martin, of Bettendorf, and Betty Sidlinger of Livermore, California; four grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
