Ronie ''Bud'' Elliott

Matherville, Illinois Ronie "Bud" Elliott, 85, of Matherville, Illinois, died Friday, June 15, 2001, in Trinity Medical Center, West Campus, Rock Island, Illinois. Services are 11 a.m. Friday at White Funeral Home, Craigsville, WV. Burial is in Delphi Church Cemetery, Tioga, WV. Trimble Funeral Home, Aledo, is in charge of local arrangements. Mr. Elliott was born August 20, 1915, in Clay County, WV, the son of John and Mary (Stephenson) Elliott. He married Eileen Holcomb in 1937; she died February 3, 1998. He was a coal miner in West Virginia and an auto worker in Detroit. He enjoyed fishing and hunting. Bud is survived by three daughters and sons-in-law, Edna and Delbert Christian of Matherville, Karen and Dr. Raymond Feldman of Troy, MI, and Margaret and Victor Stone of Fruitland, Maryland; five grandchildren, and several great- and great-great-grandchildren.
