Ronald Albert Montgomery was born October 15, 1948, in Davenport, Iowa, the son of Earl and Betty (Kuehl) Wells. He worked for Oscar Mayer, and following retirement went on to write bonds for A1 Bail Bonds. In his last few years of working, he answered the phones for Quicks Muffler Shop and really enjoyed spending time at the shop talking with employees and customers.

He enjoyed riding his Harley with his friend Curly, tinkering on projects and playing Uno every weekend with his friend Steve, throwing a big 4th of July celebration every year, and above all else spending time with his family and friends. He was a newly found Christian and was excited to share that with everyone he encountered.
He is survived by his wife, Dorella Montgomery; his children, Curtis (Penny) Wheeler, Randy (Kristy) Montgomery, Shane Montgomery, Heather Bell, Bobbi (Hailey Vontrell) McClendon, Michael (Ruth) Holmes, Jay (Erlyn) Holmes; his grandson he helped raise, TrayVontyah Harris; his special niece and nephew, Ivory Lovell and Randy Farrell; his brother, Larry Montgomery; and many many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
