Robert Z. Hesse

Robert Z. Hesse, 43, of Coal Valley, Illinois, died Tuesday, October 27, 2015, at his home after a courageous battle with cancer.

Following cremation at Trimble Crematory, a memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at Edgewood Baptist Church, Rock Island, with visitation one hour prior to services. A pool tournament in Rob's memory will be held after services, at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at Leisure Time Billiards, East Moline . Memorials may be made to the family. Trimble Funeral Home & Crematory, Moline, is serving the family.

Robert Zachariah was born January 29, 1972, in Iowa City, Iowa, the son of Robert and Joyce (Wells) Hesse. He graduated from United Township High School in 1991. He worked as a CNC operator for Bowe Machine Co. for the last ten years.

Rob's passion was billiards, and he was a master of the game.

He is survived by two daughters, Kayla Hesse and her fiancé, Jeff McBroom, and Morgyn Allison, all of Coal Valley; a granddaughter, Eleanor McBroom; his mother, Joyce McClimans of Blue Grass, Iowa; his grandmother, Natalie Regan of Calamus, Iowa; a sister, KaSandra Hesse of Bettendorf, Iowa; a brother and sister-in-law, Marcus and Amanda Hesse of Colorado Springs, Colorado; many aunts, uncles, and cousins; and his two ex-wives, with whom he remained close, Shellie Fox and Tara Allison. His father, Robert G. Hesse, preceded him in death on October 25, 2015.
