Aledo, Illinois Robert M. Lutrell, 82, Mt. Dora, Florida, formerly of Aledo, died Monday, September 17, 2001, in Hospice House, Taveres, Florida. Services are 10 a.m. Saturday, at Trimble Funeral Home, Aledo. Burial is in Aledo Cemetery, where VFW Post #1571 will present military honors. Visitation is 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Lake County, 12300 Lane Park Road, Tavares, Florida 32778. Robert Marshall Lutrell was born October 26, 1918, in Mercer County, Illinois, the son of Ward W. and Fern (Hardin) Lutrell. He married Grace Nelson on July 29, 1943, in Aledo. During WW II, he served in the U.S. Army as Quartermaster in the China Burma India (CBI) Theater along the Burma Road. Mr. Lutrell was owner of Bob's Jack and Jill Super Market in Aledo for several years until selling it in 1970. He and his wife moved to Florida in 1974. After retiring, he worked part-time at Land O Lakes Dairies in Illinois, and Walt Disney World, Scotty's, and the National Bank of Mt. Dora in Florida. He had been a member of College Avenue Presbyterian Church, Aledo, VFW Post #1571, Aledo, Aledo Rotary Club, and CBI Veterans Association. He was a Civil War buff. Bob is survived by his wife, Grace; a son and daughter-in-law, James M. and Ellen Lutrell of Orlando, Florida; a daughter, Jean A. Lutrell of Mt.
