Robert K. Reiland

Robert K. Reiland, 88, of Durant, Iowa, died Monday, May 3, 2021, at Genesis Medical Center East, Davenport, Iowa.

Cremation will take place at Trimble Crematory, Moline, under the direction of Cremation Society of the Quad Cities.

Robert Kenneth Reiland was born June 3, 1932, in Nichols, Iowa, the son of George and Alma (Holst) Reiland. He graduated from Atalissa High School and went on to serve in the U.S. Navy. He worked at Holst Trucking for many years.

He enjoyed the company of good friends and the peace of small town living.

He is survived by his sister, Maryella Davis of Altoona, Iowa; and nieces and nephew. He was preceded in death by his spouse, Evelyn Reiland, father and mother, George and Alma Reiland, and sisters, Lois McKillip and Cecelia Hagen.
