Robert Beauchamp

Robert F. “Bob” Beauchamp, 91, of East Moline, Illinois, died Sunday, August 27, 2006, at River Park Health Care Center, Rock Island.

Celebration of Life Services are 12:00 p.m. Friday, in the Celebration of Life Chapel at Trimble Funeral and Cremation Center, Moline. Visitation is one hour prior to the service. Burial is in Rock Island National Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the family.

Robert Francis Beauchamp was born November 22, 1914, in Manistee, Michigan, the son of Leo Frederick and Bertha Marie (Green) Beauchamp. He served in the Pacific for the Navy during World War II. He married Darlene Donovan on August 18, 1966, in Ottawa, Illinois. He owned and operated the Pizza and Spaghetti House in Rock Island for over 20 years before retiring in 1972. Robert enjoyed cooking for, and spending time with, his family.

Robert is survived by his wife, Darlene; sons and daughters-in-law, Robert and Gloria Beauchamp of Niceville, Florida, Fred and Peggy Beauchamp of Palmyra, Virginia, Robert and Cheryl Lyon of Aledo, Illinois, and Mike Lyon of East Moline; a daughter and her husband, Sandra and Richard Briggs of Columbus, Ohio; grandchildren, Robert, Carrie, Fred, Steven, Tracy, Linda, Corey, Casey, Christy, Taryn, Whitney, and Jay; many great-grandchildren; a special niece and her husband, Pam and Rick Davies, and their daughter, Alexis; along with numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother, Joe Beauchamp.
