Richard “Bruno” Ehen

Elton Richard “Bruno” Ehen, 77, of Moline, Illinois, died Thursday, February 5, 2009, in Trinity Medical Center, Rock Island, Illinois.

Services are 1:00 p.m. Friday, February 13, 2008, at Holy Cross Lutheran Church, Moline, with the Reverend Dr. Wilfred Karsten officiating. Visitation is 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Thursday at Trimble Funeral and Cremation Center, Moline. Burial is in Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline. Memorials may be made to the Elton Ehen Memorial Fund to be established by the family.

Elton was born March 10, 1931, in Moline, the son of Elton Henry and Leah (Kronfeld) Ehen. He received his BA in business from Augustana College. He married Evelyn C. Inskeep on January 21, 1961, in Galesburg, Illinois. She died July 25, 1992.

Bruno was co-owner of A-L-L Equipment Company, Moline, until retiring in the late 1980’s. Previously, he co-owned Parkway Refrigeration with his father.

He was a member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church, the Moline Elks, and Viking Club Thor Lodge #9. He loved the outdoors, especially hunting, fishing, and working in the garden. He loved his visits with his Grandson, Ryne.

Elton is survived by a daughter, Loree Beadel of Moline, a son, Richard Ehen and his friend Rebecca Fonseca of Moline, a step-daughter, Darrelyn Goleash of Palm Harbor, Florida, a grandson, Ryne Beadel of Davenport, and step-grandsons, Brandon and Chase Goleash of Springfield, Illinois.
