Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 PM on Monday, June 11, 2001 in Trimble Funeral Home, Aledo, where visitation will be Sunday from 3:00 to 6:00 PM. Burial will be in Greenmound Cemetery, Keithsburg, IL. Memorials may be given to one's favorite charity. Ray G. Pullen was born on April 9, 1926 in Oqwauka, Illinois the son of Norman and Iva (Simmons) Pullen. He married Shirley Smith on May 19, 1944 in Kahoka, Missouri. She died October 19, 1968. Mr. Pullen was a Walnut Log Exporter in Keithsburg, Illinois for most of his life. Survivors include; two daughters, Karen Mellenbruch of Holton, KS, and Sheila Dillie of Joy, IL; four sons, Ray N. Pullen of Topeka, KS, Richard Pullen of Derby, KS, Tommy Pullen of Chesapeake, VA, and Jason Pullen of Topeka, KS; four sisters, Norma Tippie, and Virginia Stewart both of Keithsburg, IL, Marcia Ashworth of Piney Flat, TN, and Melba Mick of Rock Island, IL; and a brother, Donald Pullen of Aledo, IL. He was preceded in death by his wife; two daughters, Kathy Tharp, and Candace Zimmerman, and a son Randy Pullen. End of Obituary.
