Charles R. Brown, 62, of Indianapolis, Indiana, died Tuesday, March 16, 2010, at Roudebush VA Medical Center, Indianapolis.
Visitation is 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Friday at Trimble Funeral and Cremation Center, Moline, with graveside services following at Rock Island National Cemetery, where Moline American Legion Post #246 will present military honors. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 3727 Blackhawk Rd, #101, Rock Island, Illinois 61201.
Charles Richard Brown was born December3, 1947, in Moline, Illinois. He married Yvonne Jones on November 11, 1997.
He worked for the DFAS at the Rock Island arsenal before being transferred to the DFAS Finance Center in Indianapolis in 2007. He enjoyed being with his family and playing softball.
Chuck is survived by his wife and a son, Michael M. Jones of Oak Park, Illinois. He was preceded in death by a brother, Jerry Brown.
