Mildred R. Bisbey, 90, of Moline, died Tuesday, February 12, 2008, at Heartland Health Care Center, Moline.
Services are 11:00 a.m. Saturday, in the Celebration of Life Chapel at Trimble Funeral and Cremation Center, Moline. The Reverend Robert Moon will officiate. Visitation is 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Friday. Burial is in Riverside Cemetery, Moline. Memorials may be made to the Mildred Bisbey Memorial Fund, which will be established by the family.
The former Mildred Ruth Ryan was born February 1, 1918, in Moline. She married William Bisbey on August 24, 1946, in Moline. He died June 2, 1989.
Mildred worked for the City of Moline Police Department in records. She was also an interior decorator for Peterson Von Maur. During the war, she worked for International Harvester.
She was a member of World Thrust Christian Center in Orion. She was extremely skilled at and enjoyed needlework.
Mildred is survived by two sons, Brad and Mark Bisbey of Moline, a sister, Laura Wilson of Colorado Springs, Colorado, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a son, Tom Bisbey, two brothers, and three sisters.
