Preston J. LeMaire Jr.

Preston J. LeMaire Jr., 75, of Colona, Illinois, died Tuesday, September 24, 2024, at home.

Visitation is 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., Saturday, October 5, 2024, in the Horizon Room at Trimble Funeral Home at Trimble Pointe, 701 12th Street, Moline. Cremation will take place prior to visitation at Trimble Crematory, Moline, Illinois, under the direction of Trimble Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the family.

Preston James LeMaire Jr. was born September 3, 1949, in Abbeville, Louisiana, the son of Preston and Eula (Touchet) LeMaire Sr. He married Linda Covemaker on May 1, 1992, in Moline, Illinois and worked as a chef for over 15 years at the Isle of Capri Hotel.

Preston was a proud member the United States Army and a member of The Great Quad Cities Prostate Cancer Support Group. He enjoyed fishing, cooking for his family, making people happy with his jokes, and above all else spending time with his beloved family.

He is survived by his wife, Linda LeMaire; his children, Preston (Tammy) LeMaire III, Christopher (Heather) LeMaire, Mickey Neil (Cathie) LeMaire, Robert (Kristin) Davis, and Chad (Jenni) Davis; 16 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren; and his sister, Tina (Norris) Bouillion. He is preceded in death by his parents, Preston LeMaire Sr. and Eula Oliver; his sisters, Betty Theriot and Priscilla Landry; one grandchild and two great-grandchildren.
