Phyllis M. Morey

East Moline, Illinois Phyllis M. Morey, 83, formerly of East Moline, died Monday, February 28, 2005, in the Emergency Room at Genesis East Medical Center, Davenport. Services are 10 a.m. Friday in the Celebration of Life Chapel at Trimble Funeral and Cremation Center, Moline. Burial is in Andover Cemetery. Visitation is 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. The former Phyllis Margaret Schmoll was born June 4, 1921, in Osco Township, Illinois, the daughter of Glenn and Ellen (Nero) Schmoll. She married Walter "Babe" Morey in 1942, in Crown Point, Indiana. He died in 1955. She was a member of Faith Lutheran Church, Moline, and C.A.S.I. She enjoyed spending time with her family. Phyllis is survived by three daughters and sons-in-law, Carol and Quincy Black of Davenport, and Merry and Donial Shick and Julie and Robert Rowe, all of Moline; seven grandchildren, Darrell Edmonds, Dennis Edmonds and his wife Sandy, Shelley, Scott, and Joshua Shick, and Elliott and Neil Rowe; a great-grandson, Darrell Edmonds Jr.; a sister, Mary Ann Mitchell of Hollywood, Florida; a brother, Glenn Schmoll of Elmwood Park, Illinois; and special cousins, Kathleen Kelly of Moline, and Eloise Ruark of Bradley, Illinois.
