Phengphanh "Pam" Seuamsothabandith, 59, of Silvis, Illinois, died Tuesday, June 30, 2015, at Select Specialty Hospital, Davenport, Iowa.
A Buddhist funeral will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday in the Horizon Room at Trimble Funeral Home at Trimble Pointe, 701 12th Street, Moline. Visitation is one hour prior to services. Immediately following services, cremation will take place at Trimble Crematory. Memorials may be made to the family.
Pam was born October 12, 1955, in Vientiane, Laos, the daughter of Ou Abhay and Khamsene Phanvongsa. She married Phiengvilay Lucky Seuamsothabandith in 1975, in Vientiane, Laos.
She worked as a seamstress for Seaford Clothing in Rock Island for over 20 years.
She belonged to Wat Lao Photikaram in Cherry Valley, Illinois. She loved cooking, shopping, and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Pam is survived by a son, Keo Seuamsothabandith of Silvis; two daughters, Keovilaythong Phiathep-Seuamsothabandith and her husband, Tony Phiathep, of Silvis, and Stacy Seuamsothabandith of Chicago; three grandchildren, Malaui, Kaylani, and Imee Phiathep; a brother, Senesavath Phanvongsa and his wife, Noy, of Vientiane, Laos; a sister, Venepheth Phanvongsa and Akhom Soukyavong; and in-laws, Phiengsai Sananikone, Phiengsanith Naovarath, Phienghongseng Seuam, and Phiengpradith Sundara, all of France. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Phuangpheth Phanvongsa.
