Pauline L. Overton

Pauline L. Overton, 82, transitioned peacefully on Monday, December 23, 2019 at her home in Springfield, Illinois, surrounded by family. Pauline was born January 4, 1937, in Rock Island, Illinois, to Robert N. and Gladys E. (Pate) Overton Sr.

Services are Noon on Saturday, January 4, 2020, in the Horizon Room at Trimble Funeral Home at Trimble Pointe, 701 12th Street, Moline. Burial will be at Oakdale Memorial Gardens, Davenport. Visitation is one hour prior to services.

Left to love and cherish her memory are sisters, Arline (Obie) Hodges, Rosemary Overton; brothers, Robert (Debbie) Overton and Michael Overton; seven children, Victor (Tammy) McCray, Joi (Jerry) Edwards, Gayle McCray, Dawn McCray, Randall (Bettye) McCray, Pauline (Jesse) Horton and Randall (Ashlei Austin) Wyatt; 13 grandchildren, Kenya McCray, Devario Talley, Tony McCray, Desteny McCray, Santana (Salvador Zepeda Jr) McCray, Ashton McCray, Demenica (Antoine) Johnson, Ceneca Johnson, Anesha (Maurice) Sullivan, Jessica Horton, Ana, Kyndallise and Randall; 21 great-grandchildren; a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends; and her devoted caretaker Debbie Sheppard.

She was greeted in Heaven by her parents, sisters Sharon Malone and Marlene Carter, grand-daughter Sharenica McCray and great-grandson Chester Lang II.
