Patsy Wallace, 72, of Hampton, Illinois, died Thursday, May 2, 2019, in Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House, Bettendorf, Iowa.
Services are 10:00 a.m. Wednesday in the Horizon Room at Trimble Funeral Home at Trimble Pointe, 701 12th Street, Moline. Burial is in Oak Grove Cemetery, Port Byron. Visitation is 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday in CityView Celebrations on the lower level at Trimble Pointe. Memorials may be made to the family.
The former Patsy Koenegstein was born April 4, 1947, in Carbondale, Illinois, to Marvin and Lillie (Harris) Koenegstein. She was employed in logistics at Deere and Company for 48 years, retiring in 2017. Pat had many interests, including traveling, the St. Louis Cardinals, NASCAR racing, motorcycles, fishing, plants and flowers and garage sales. She loved her job at Deere and Company, traveling with her cousins, and above all else, loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Pat is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Windy and Justin Rodgers of Cordova, Illinois; her son, Joshua Wallace of Hampton; grandchildren, Brinley and Kade Rodgers; and her fur baby, Zuka. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother Ronald Koenegstein.
The family wants to thank the University of Iowa Hospitals, Dr. Stuart Garneau, and Clarissa C. Cook Hospice for their outstanding care.
