Patricia Rockwell, 74, of Moline, Illinois, died Wednesday, January 5, 2011, in Trinity Rock Island.
Services are 10:00 a.m. Monday in the mausoleum at Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline, with The Reverend Beth Rupe of First Christian Church, Moline, officiating. Memorials may be made to the Quad City Animal Welfare Center, Milan. Trimble Funeral and Cremation Center, Moline, is assisting the family.
The former Patricia Ann Lagan was born October 29, 1936, in South Bend, Indiana, the daughter of John and Mary Jane (Hutchison) Lagan. She married Virgil Richey in 1965. He died in January of 1979. She married Ralph Rockwell in November of 1979.
Pat and her husband, Virgil, opened the White House Club in Moline, which she ran for over 20 years, retiring in 1985. While in Indiana, she worked for Bendix and the Department of Agriculture. She enjoyed being a housewife after retiring.
Pat is survived by her husband, Ralph, a step-son and his wife, Lon and Carol Richey of Morrison, Illinois, two step-grandchildren, Christine and John Richey, and a brother-in-law, Charles Rockwell of Andalusia, Illinois.
