Patricia "Marlowe" Jacobs

Marlowe Jacobs, 91, of Moline, Illinois, died Saturday, July 15, 2017, in Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House, Bettendorf, Iowa.

Services are 1:00p.m. Thursday in the Horizon Room at Trimble Funeral Home at Trimble Pointe, 701 12th Street, Moline. Burial is in Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline. Visitation is 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Friends are invited to join the family at a funeral luncheon at CityView Celebrations at Trimble Pointe following the burial. Memorials may be made to Union Congregational United Church of Christ, Moline, or Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House.

The former Patricia Ann Guy was born July 9, 1926, in Moline, to Harry and Harriett Gellerstedt Guy. She married Earl L. "Boots" Jacobs on February 14, 1947, in Moline. He died July 18, 2001. She was a member of Union Congregational Church, loved her dachshunds and spending time with her family, and enjoyed music, dancing, playing cards, reading, knitting, and watching movies.

Marlowe is survived by three daughters and sons-in-law, Gay "Beav" and Ron Terrell of Colona, Laurie and Rick Maddelein of Silvis, and Sue and Bob Maddelein of Moline; two grandchildren and spouses, Luke and Teresa Thoensen and Lindsay and Nick Schroder; a great-grandson, Jacob Thoensen; a step-granddaughter and husband, Theresa and Michael Engholm, and their family; and a sister-in-law, Elaine Guy of Moline. She was preceded in death by her husband and a brother, Bruce Guy.
