Patricia Versluis, 94, of Moline, Illinois, died Saturday, February 19, 2022, in her home.
Services are 11 a.m. Friday, March 4, 2022, in the Horizon Room at Trimble Funeral Home at Trimble Pointe, 701 12th Street, Moline, with The Rev. Becky David officiating. Visitation is one hour before the service. Burial is in Rock Island National Cemetery, followed by a funeral luncheon at CityView Celebrations on the lower level of Trimble Pointe. Memorials may be made to Shriners Hospitals for Children, Chicago.
The former Patricia Jean VanAtta was born March 14, 1927, in Muscatine, Iowa, to Hillis and Jeannette (Hudson) VanAtta. She married Raymond G. Versluis on February 7, 1948, in Moline. He died January 28, 1979. She had been a member of First Congregational Church, Moline, since she was a child. She loved traveling the world, and enjoyed bridge, reading, and especially being with her family.
Pat is survived by three children and their spouses, Dianne and George VanVooren of Port Byron, Illinois, Mike and Tami Versluis of Maize, Kansas, and Cindy and Gary Kleinschmidt of Davenport, Iowa; seven grandchildren and their spouses, Abigail Ashby, Kara and Scott Waletzko, Katy and Robert Casanova, Jenny and Dave Kroening, Doug and Lyndsey Palmer, Jeff and Molly Palmer, and Ben and Niki Palmer; and 19 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband and her parents.
